Troubleshooting Connections

Common issues when connecting platforms and how to resolve them.

Connection Failed

Possible Causes:

  • Authorization was cancelled or timed out
  • Insufficient permissions on the platform
  • Network connectivity issues

Solution: Try the connection process again. Make sure you complete the authorization within the timeout period and grant all requested permissions.

Groups Not Showing

Possible Causes:

  • Sync is still in progress
  • Bot lacks required permissions
  • Private groups need bot to be added

Solution: Wait a few minutes for sync to complete. For Discord/Slack, ensure the bot has access to the channels. For Telegram, make sure the bot is an admin in the group.

Connection Disconnected

Possible Causes:

  • Access token expired
  • Permissions were revoked on the platform
  • Bot was removed from the server/group

Solution: Try reconnecting the platform. Gruplix automatically attempts to refresh tokens, but if the connection is permanently broken, you'll need to re-authorize.
